Welcome to Holly's Hounds!
Hi, my name is Holly. I am a qualified and experienced dog walker and pet sitter. I have multiple years experience working within the animal industry and dog walking. I have recently relocated to Marden and am now keen to set up my own business.
I started my career by studying Animal Management whilst volunteering at multiple rescue centres and working at a veterinary practice. Shortly after I gained my dog walking certificate and my canine first aid certificate.
Holly's Hounds was inspired by my two dogs, Luna and Ted. Luna is a French Bulldog and Ted is a Cockapoo. As the expression goes, a dog is a mans best friend and it is easy to see why. They greet us at the door every day, love us unconditionally and even help us live happier lives. They love and trust us with no judgement with no dog having the same personality as another. Ted is a very playful and friendly dog that loves nothing more than cuddles but does have the occasional mood swing where as Luna is my sidekick and so affectionate but is often very reactive to other dogs. This is because she has many health issues which prevent her from socialising and playing in the same way as Ted.
In early 2023, Luna had to undergo emergency spinal surgery due to a birth defect which unfortunately left her paralysed from the waist down. She has taken it all in her stride and loves her new wheels! My point is, no dogs is the same whether that be through personality traits or physical appearance and I have created my own business to help others that need a trusted dog walker or pet sitter, who understands and respects your animals boundaries.
